Molly is a Hudson Valley based textile artist. Her work is deeply rooted in the natural world. She is constantly in awe of the patterns, colors and textures found around her - the composition of a single line running through a stone, the symmetry of the face of an Iris, the iridescence of a shell - the list goes on. She works with natural dyestuffs and uses natural fibers. When not weaving she can be found looking at the clouds, planning her dream natural dye garden, petting her pup or arranging flowers for every nook in her home. Molly fell in love with the intensive process of Ikat weaving and natural dyeing during her stay at Penland School of Crafts in 2018.
